About Amanda Wilder Lark, DMSc, MAPS, PA-C
Amanda Wilder Lark, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C received a Bachelor of Arts from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. In 2002, Amanda graduated from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where she was named a Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Scholarship Finalist, awarded the prestigious Schermerhorn Scholarship, and was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society. Amanda then received a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska. In 2022, she earned a Doctorate in Medical Science from the University of Lynchburg. Amanda has over 20 years of experience as a physician assistant in Emergency Medicine, Wound Care, and Dermatology. She completed rigorous training to earn the Diplomate status with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the most esteemed honor among the profession. Amanda also serves as an instructional faculty at Austin College. Other memberships include Skin of Color Society, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
She has completed several marathons and triathlons, including the full-distance Ironman Arizona. Amanda wrote her doctoral thesis on diet and inflammatory diseases and has a strong interest in natural remedies for promoting overall health and well-being. Amanda enjoys providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic services to patients of all ages as well as precepting students and future healthcare providers. Patients can connect with Amanda on social media at “Queen of No Sun,” a name affectionately given by her kids, where she shares skincare tips and insights focused on sun protection and healthy skin.
On a personal note, Amanda lives in Dallas with her family. She enjoys Peloton exercise and watches college and professional football.
