About Dr. Elba Rubianes
Dr. Elba Rubianes is a board-certified dermatologist who offers her vast array of dermatology services at McGuiness Dermatology & Plastic Surgery. She works at the offices located in Plano and Prosper, Texas.
Dr. Rubianes is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and has over 20 years of experience in medical and surgical dermatology. She completed her training in dermatology at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. She then went on to complete a fellowship in dermatopathology at New York University.
Dr. Rubianes has a passion for patient care and strives to work together with her patients in achieving a skin care or treatment plan that will meet their unique needs. Before moving to Texas, Dr. Rubianes was in private practice in Naples, Florida, where she enjoyed caring for patients of all ages. Her interests include medical dermatology, skin cancer diagnosis and management, skin surgery and overall skin health.
