About Katie Holt, PA-C
Katie Holt, PA-C is a certified physician assistant, specializing in surgical dermatology, serving patients at McGuiness Dermatology in Plano TX. Katie grew up in Dallas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in 2014. She then moved to New York City and graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital
Physician Assistant Program in 2017. Katie joins us with nearly 5 years of experience in surgical and general dermatology. She has extensive training in performing surgical excisions and Mohs surgery repairs including primary complex closures, skin grafts, and advancement flaps. Katie diagnoses and manages an array of dermatological conditions with a special interest in skin cancer, psoriasis, and acne.
She highly prioritizes patient connection and education.
Katie and her husband spend most of their free time keeping up with their one-year-old daughter, Evie. They are active members of Watermark Community Church and love traveling. Katie also volunteers with Dallas DOG Animal Rescue and enjoys fostering puppies in need as often as possible.
