About Elizabeth Carter, PA-C
Elizabeth is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and has recently moved to the great state of Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys road biking, running, and knitting. She also speaks fluent Portuguese, and loves to travel with her husband to visit extended family.
Elizabeth attended Utah Valley State University where she studied Accounting, earning a Bachelor of Science in 2007. She then continued on to receive her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2015 from Touro College in Bayshore, NY. Before attending school, she worked at the University of Utah dermatology clinic and Primary Children's Hospital where she emphasized in pediatric dermatology.
Elizabeth has been practicing dermatology for over five years and was most recently practicing in New York City, where she received experienced in both cosmetic and medical dermatology. She is licensed by both Texas and New York State Board of Medical Examiners and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has diagnosed and treated a variety of dermatological conditions, such as acne, warts, alopecia, eczema, psoriasis and rashes, and also performs skin cancer screenings.
