About Monica Bang, NP-BC
Monica is a board certified Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in Dermatology. With over 15 years in the medical field, she brings her expertise to offer individualized care for each of her patients.
Monica received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. In 2011, Monica began working in Los Angeles, specializing in laser treatments for acne, acne scars and skin rejuvenation. In 2014, she joined a medical dermatology office with outstanding board certified physicians who trained her and helped her ultimately discover dermatology as her true passion. Recently, Monica moved back to Texas to be near family and is excited to join the team at Mcguiness Dermatology.
Her clinical interests are sun protection, acne and skin rejuvenation. Monica is also a laser specialist and has many years of experience working in the field of laser dermatology. With fillers and botox, her goal is to keep a natural approach with an emphasis on facial balancing.
Monica is a member of the National Nursing Honors Society, Sigma Theta Tau, and is nationally certified by The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
